General Information

A member of the Ptolemaeus Arabus et Latinus project since September 2019, Colette Dufossé works primarily on the Latin versions of Ptolemy’s Almagest. She has completed the critical editions of the twelfth-century Greco-Latin version produced in Sicily and of the Arabo-Latin version by Gerard of Cremona (both forthcoming). She is currently completing the critical edition of the Greco-Latin version by George of Trebizond (fifteenth century). Her main research interests are:
