Cod.: paper, II+183 ff. (foliated with Hindu-Arabic numerals, Persian variants; catchwords mostly provided). A clear dense nastaʿlīq hand in black. Mostly dotted ductus, hamzas and shaddas sometimes provided, occasional vowel marks. Book and chapter titles rubricated, beginning of paragraphs often with red overlines. Abjad notation in the main text overlined, in darker ink by a second rubricator, who also filled in several empty spaces. The same hand introduces the siglum sr for the commentator (al-mufassir) and sigla ṭ, ṭs and bṭs for quotes attributed to Ptolemy (Baṭlamyūs). No tables. Two of the three horoscope diagrams usually found in this work were added by the second rubricator (152r, 154r), while an empty space for the third horoscope remains (155r). Dimensions: 25×18 cm (inserted library note); 24 lines per page. Codex in very good condition. Bound in a brown leather binding with frame, red doublures. Type II binding.
