Notes of contents apper in a late s. 16 hand, 1b-3; and in that of Thomas Rodd, bookseller, with pencilled comments by Sir Thomas Phillipps, iii-iv. A partially legible note in another s. 16 hand mentions Dore Abbey, 116b. Apparently belonged, at least in 1243, to Dore Abbey and may have been written there (see art. 14).
