Undated statement of ownership by the above-mentioned Raʾīs al-Munajjimīn, Muḥammad ʿAlī l-Munajjim (Ir); undated statement of ownership by Muḥammad, known as Munajjimak Raʾīs al-Munajjimīn (d. 1667), with an undated oval seal (Ir). Oval seal of endowment by Abū l-ʿAbbās Aḥmad b. al-wazīr Abī ʿAbdallāh Muḥammad, known as Kūprīlī (the founder of the Köprülü library), dated 1088/1677-8 (1r, 2r, 33r, 65r, 95r, 144r, 192r, 222v). Octagonal motto seal (1r, 2r, 64r, 108r, 172r, 222v); a damaged small oval seal (Ir).

Cod.: paper, I+221+Ia ff. (foliated with Hindu-Arabic numerals in pencil just left above the body text on rectos, with f. 59 foliated as 69 and the actual 69 repeated; an earlier foliation with Hindu-Arabic numerals in ink up to f. 53, then in pencil by a different hand, deviating from the later foliation by one or two in an inconsistent way; catchwords). A single clear taʿlīq hand in black; occasionally dotted ductus, occasional shaddas, regular hamzas except on initial alifs. Book numbers in red, chapter numbers in Hindu-Arabic numerals or written out in red; qawlu-hu/aqūlu in red at the beginning of every section. Abjad notation in the text in black or red, occasionally overlined. Several diagrams with red lines and letters and labels in black. Three tables with headings in black or red (27v, 28r, 28v). Codex in very good condition; occasional moisture stains not affecting the readability of the text. Dimensions: 26.5×16 cm, written area: 18×9 cm; 29 lines per page. Brown leather cover with a simple rectangular frame. Type II binding.
