An ownership statement with a rectangular seal, both illegible (1r). Endowment statement by Sulaymān Bāshā b. Muḥammad Amīn Bāshā b. Ḥusayn Bāshā al-Jalīlī dated 1192/1778-9, with his oval seal (1r); he instituted the library at the Bāshā mosque that had been founded by his father (Aḥmad, pp. 7–8). Old shelfmark: ‘Jāmiʿ al-Bāshā 353’. After 1974, the al-Bāshā collection was transferred to the Maktabat al-Awqāf of Mosul, which was captured and ransacked by the Islamic State in June 2014. The present state of the manuscript is unknown.

Cod.: paper, I+196 ff. (unfoliated; catchwords). A single nastaʿlīq hand with occasional tendency to naskh; almost fully dotted ductus. Book headings in (presumably) red; section beginnings in red and mostly introduced by bold abjad numerals in the margins. Abjad numerals in the text sometimes in red. Diagrams mostly invisible on the scans. Table headings in bold thuluth, sometimes missing (e.g., 133r, 134v–136r). Codex seemingly in good condition; binding becoming loose. Dimensions: 24.5×14 cm; 17 or 19 lines per page. Type III binding.
