Prov.:a statement covered by Japanese paper mentioning a certain Shams al-Dīn Ḥusayn (1r). Several statements and seals hardly legible due to restorations (1r). Library stamps and notes, including restoration (tanqīḥ) stamps with the year 1958 (?) (1r, 193v). .
Cod.: paper, 193 ff. (foliated with Urdu forms of Hindu-Arabic numerals in pencil near the top left of the text area on rectos; additionally paginated with Arabic-European numerals in pencil in the centre of the upper margin; a crossed-out earlier foliation in black in the upper left corner of rectos with some irregularities; catchwords). A single nastaʿlīq hand; almost fully dotted ductus, few vowel marks, very few hamzas. Book and chapter headings and qawlu-hu / aqūlu initially in red, later all omitted; some use of red overlines and dots as textual dividers. Diagrams with black lines and red geometrical points. Tables with red lines. Codex in bad condition; considerable damage by insects repaired with Japanese paper, frequently affecting the readability; outer and inner margins of f. 193 reinforced by large strokes of paper; ink in top lines of ff. 166–180 bled due to moisture. Dimensions: 26.0×14.2 cm; 25 lines per page.
