a rectangular seal, statements and a seal in blue ink on f. 1r (shine-through on f. 1v). Modern library stamp of the ‘Abdul Hai Firangi Mahalli Collection’ (33v); ʿAbd al-Ḥayy Abū l-Ḥasanāt Muḥammad Firanjī Maḥallī (1848–1886) was a renowned Muslim scholar from a Lucknow family.

Cod.: paper, 381 ff. (foliated with Urdu variants of Hindu-Arabic numerals in the upper left corner of rectos; catchwords). A black nastaʿlīq hand; almost fully dotted ductus.
