Cod.: paper, 69 ff. (both foliated and paginated with Arabic-European numerals in the upper left corner of rectos; f. 39 written upside-down, hence to be read in the order 39v–39r; catchwords). A single, slightly inconsistent black naskh hand; fully dotted ductus with occasional vowels, shaddas and tanwīns. Oversized work titles and chapter headings in black and a different colour (most likely red); subchapter beginnings in (presumably) red. A carelessly drawn diagram consisting of various cells and shapes, partly filled with the names of the zodiacal signs and sets of dots, but apparently not related to geomancy (43r); a carelessly drawn table for onomancy (50v). Text framed, presumably in red. Dimensions: 210×150 mm; 15 lines per page. Codex in good condition; some smudges, ff. 1 and 13 partially torn with significant loss of text; one or more folios lost after f. 47 and at the end. Recent European half-leather binding (Vajda & Morelon).

\39v\ وهذه مقالة أخرى في معرفة الكواكب السحابيّة وصفتها وذوات الذوائر والذوائب \39r\ على ما قاله الحكيم بطلميوس وشرحه وهو هذا. قال الحكيم بطلميوس إنّ الكواكب ذوات العلى والذوائب تسعة وهي مأسورة تحت شعاع الشمس وهذه أسماؤها والله أعلم — \41r\ وإن لقي المرّيخ هيّج الحروب وكثرت الفتن والسلاح وإن لقي الذنب فسد الطعام فهذا جملة ما وجدناه من كلام بطلميوس والله أعلم قال الحكيم ووجدت في ورقة من هذه الأورق من كلام بطليموس وألحقتها في هذا المكان لتتمّة الكتاب وصحّته وهذا مثاله ومن تقدّمه من علماء اليونانيّين في هذه الكواكب — \42r\ وقال الخوارزميّ إذا كان في يوم عاشر من مسرى تنظر إلى السماء فإن كانت كثيرة السحاب أو قليلته فهو بقدره انتهى من خزانة الأكمل من كتاب فيه من حكمة أسطوطاس وهذا ما جمعناه.
