A single, slightly inconsistent black naskh hand; fully dotted ductus with occasional vowels, shaddas and tanwīns. Oversized work titles and chapter headings in black and a different colour (most likely red); subchapter beginnings in (presumably) red. A carelessly drawn diagram consisting of various cells and shapes, partly filled with the names of the zodiacal signs and sets of dots, but apparently not related to geomancy (43r); a carelessly drawn table for onomancy (50v). Text framed, presumably in red. Dimensions: 210×150 mm; 15 lines per page. Codex in good condition; some smudges, ff. 1 and 13 partially torn with significant loss of text; one or more folios lost after f. 47 and at the end. Recent European half-leather binding (Vajda & Morelon).
