In many cases also the dates of completion by the author are given, mostly in 651/1253-4 (88r, 90r, 131r) and 653/1255-6 (139r, 146v, 152v, 154r, 158v, 162r, 165r, 170v); in one case the authorial colophon is reproduced with date 21 Shaʿbān 663/​8 June 1265 (122r).

A clear main hand in black naskh, partially dotted ductus; the treatise on ff. 244v–248v by a smaller, less regular naskh hand; ff. 17–19 and ff. 269–275 in the Ptolemaic work by a nastaʿlīq hand. Book and section titles in enlarged bold black and red; section and proposition numbers in overlined red in the margins. Abjad and Hindu-Arabic numerals in red and overlined; geometrical points in the text overlined in black. Diagrams with red lines and black geometrical points or the other way around. Tables with red lines. Codex in acceptable condition; numerous restorations, especially in the folds, some in the margins; ink corrosion on ff. 244–248.
