Cod.: paper, I+314 ff. (foliated with Urdu forms of Hindu-Arabic numerals in blue pencil mostly in the upper centre of rectos, with a folio skipped after ‘4’ and ‘285’ repeated; catchwords). A single nastaʿlīq hand; mostly dotted ductus, few hamzas, exceptional vowel marks or shaddas. Book and chapter headings mostly in red; heading for Book X added in the margins; qawlu-hu in red. Abjad numerals overlined in black. Diagrams in the margins with red lines and black geometrical points or vice versa, and especially in the beginning entirely in black. A set of two tables normally included in chapter I.12 is absent; lines of another table in red (248r). Codex in bad condition; water damage (mainly on ff. 87–120 and 147–173) and damage by insects (throughout) affecting the readability; some restorations, especially of the folds.
