calligraphic signature of Muḥammad Masīḥ Ṭabāṭabāʾī above an illegible seal, but apparently not his (1r). A modern note on the Tafsīr Taḥrīr al-Majisṭī, with a reference to Dānishpazhūh (1r). Accession number ‘48376’ with date ‘26-9-34’ (1r).

Cod.: paper, 117 ff. (unfoliated except on f. 117r; catchwords). A single nastaʿlīq hand in black; almost fully dotted ductus. No use of red ink; spaces left for rubrication and for diagrams and tables. Codex in bad condition; major water damage at the top of most pages and on the entire ff. 116–117, strongly hindering the reading; ff. 1 and 117 torn, binding loose. Dimensions: 24.5×12.5 cm, written area: 16×6.5 cm; 25 lines per page. Pasteboard covers with greenish floral motifs. Type III binding.
