Cod.: paper, 160 ff. (unfoliated; 160 is the number of folios indicated by the library, but we have received scans of only 111 verso-recto pairs with numerous gaps, so that no reliable folio references can be given; catchwords). A black nastaʿlīq hand; almost fully dotted ductus, some vowel marks, few hamzas or shaddas. Book headings rubricated; section beginnings in red and introduced by bold black abjad numerals with red overlines; propositions numbered with red overlined abjad numerals in the text. Abjad numerals and Persian forms of Hindu-Arabic numerals mainly in red and overlined. Diagrams mostly carefully drawn with red lines and black geometrical points or sometimes vice versa; blank spaces reserved for some diagrams. Tables with red lines; the declination table in section I.13 left empty. The layout of a headpiece with Sūrat al-Baqara, āya 32 in red around the basmala (1v). Codex in good condition; some diagrams and tables partially glued over by slips of paper with corrections, one diagram entirely glued over; minor damage by insects, some water or moisture damage around the folds and in the margins. Dimensions: not given; 19 lines per page.
