Cod.: paper, I+400 ff. (unfoliated; a slip of paper with a diagram glued in on f. 299r, not included in our folio count; catchwords). A single quick nastaʿlīq hand; partially dotted ductus, with frequent elongated bowls, descenders and ascenders. Book and section titles and abjad and Hindu-Arabic numerals in red in a more elegant nastaʿlīq hand. Geometrical points in the text overlined. Diagrams with thin dark-red lines and black geometrical points. Tables with thin dark-red double-lines. Codex in acceptable condition; significant water stains on the edges and in the lower half of the fold, especially towards the end of the manuscript; mold at the bottom of the last twenty folios. Dimensions: 19×10 cm, written area: 14×6 cm; 19 lines per page. Dark-brown leather covers over cardboard with some wear; modern paper pastedowns with a diagonal check motif. Type III binding.
