Cod.: Sipāhānī paper (Dānishpazhūh), 252+IIIa ff. (foliated with black Hindu-Arabic numerals, Persian variants, in the top left corner of rectos, mainly visible between ff. 81–187 due to the damage to the manuscript; four irregular folio numbers by the same hand between ff. 12 and 22; no catchwords). A single nastaʿlīq hand. Sparsely dotted ductus; no vowel marks, shaddas or hamzas; few maddas. Book headings in greyish green and red in the first Ptolemaic work; subdivisions in the second (ff. 219v–248r) and third (ff. 248v–251r) work in red or overlined in red. Book headings of the first Ptolemaic work additionally displayed as catch titles in red tawqīʿ in the upper margins, occasionally damaged. Headings of subchapters numbered and in greyish green. Propositions (ashkāl) in the first work numbered in the margins by red and overlined abjad numerals. Abjad numerals and Hindu-Arabic numerals, Persian variants, in red or overlined but not highlighted in the last work. Diagram lines in red with black geometrical points or vice versa in the first Ptolemaic work. Table lines in red, table frames in greyish-green with minor exceptions; some empty tables in the Ptolemaic parts (135r–136v, 213v–214v). Empty space for a headpiece and a rule-border in greyish green around the main text (1v–2r); a red rule-border (211r). Codex severely damaged, especially by rodents in the upper corners from f. 81 onwards, occasionally affecting tables and figures; further damage by water, stains and smudges; binding becoming loose. Dimensions: 20×11 cm (library card on scans), written area: 11×4,5 cm; 17 lines per page. Modern leather cover in brown and greyish-brown. Type III binding.
