a Persian note of donation by ʿAlī Muḥammad Wazīrī to the library in Yazd that he founded, the Kitābkhāna-yi Wazīrī ʿumūmī, dated 1365 A.H. and 1325 H.S./1946 (1r). Round library stamp of the Kitābkhāna-yi Wazīrī (e.g., 63v, 74v, 130r); a faded oval stamp of the Kitābkhāna-yi Wazīrī with year 1332 hs /1951(1r). Alternative shelfmarks: 364 and 460 (1r, Shīrwānī).

Cod.: paper, 163 ff. (foliated with Hindu-Arabic numerals in pencil just left above the text area on every recto; an earlier foliation with Persian variants of Hindu-Arabic numerals in red in the upper left corner of rectos, running from 2 to 162 but skipping f. 36 and mostly trimmed; catchwords). A nicely written and laid out manuscript with carefully drawn diagrams and tables. A single neat naskh hand; dotted ductus with some vowel marks and hamzas. All books start on a new page, with the header in large bold black and the title in red. Section numbers in large bold overlined black, section titles in red; propositions numbered with red overlined abjad numerals in the margins. Abjad numerals in red and overlined; Hindu-Arabic numerals and geometrical points in the text overlined in black. Diagrams with red lines and black geometrical points or the other way around. Tables with red lines; a rosette (93v). Codex in very good condition; some stains along the edges, some damage around the folds; f. 1 and corners of ff. 68–69 restored. Dimensions: 23.5×15 cm, written area: 16×7 cm; 25 lines per page. Brown leather covers over pasteboards. Type III binding.
