Cod.: paper, I+228 ff. (foliated with Persian forms of Hindu-Arabic numerals in pencil, skipping ‘51’; catchwords). One or two naskh hands in black. Main hand: almost fully dotted ductus; book titles centered in black, sometimes partially in red or overlined in red; section titles in red, section numbers in black overlined abjad; abjad and Hindu-Arabic numerals with red overlines, geometrical points in the text overlined in black; diagrams with red lines and black geometrical points or the other way around, occasionally extending into the margins; tables with red lines, occasionally written vertically or extending into the margins; a rosette (129r); two pages of text crossed out (18v–19v). The text in the margins of 38 pages up to f. 30r mostly covers around one third of the page (in particular, the bottom margin), but occasionally less and occasionally more, up to the complete margins on ff. 9r–v and 17v. Hand of the marginal text: a miniscule naskh, sparsely dotted ductus; section titles and qawlu-hu in red but from f. 11r onwards omitted; some red overlines for Hindu-Arabic numerals; only a single diagram in black included (23v), spaces for all others reserved. Codex in bad condition; holes caused by insects, especially on ff. 9, 17v, 124–135, and 224–228; most inner margins restored. Dimensions: 24×16.5 cm, written area: 11×5 cm; 17 lines per page for the main text and up to 103 lines in the margins (misṭara imprints for the margins visible on many pages). Black oilcloth covers with black leather spine (Marʿashī Najafī).
