A naskh hand in black, described by Rashed as nastaʿlīq; mostly dotted ductus without diacritical signs; textual dividers in red. Diagrams in red and black with black labels. Codex in poor condition; moisture stains occasionally affecting the readability, last six lines on ff. 26r–v lost, all margins restored with modern paper. Note Rashed (Les mathématiques infinitésimales II) describes both works included in this manuscript as being part of MS ʿAbd al-Ḥayy 678/55, which, at the time when he consulted it, was a collective volume of 45 ff. in great disorder.
