ownership statement by Jalāl al-Islām Luṭf Allāh b. Ḥāfiẓ al-Dīn al-Ḥanafī, dated 840/​1436-7 (168r). Ownership statement, dated Dhū l-ḥijja 890/​December 1485-January 1486 in Qusṭanṭīniyya, by ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. ʿAlī b. Muʾayyad b. al-shaykh Pīr ʿAlī, known as Muʾayyad-Zāda (3r); he was also the owner of MS Oxford, Bodleian, Thurston 3 and several other Ptolemaic manuscripts. Ownership statement by al-Ḥājj Muṣliḥ … al-Ḥanafī (3r). Two more statements, partially invisible due to restorations (3r). Current shelfmark and Uri catalogue numbers (2r, 3r); small round library stamps (3r, 167v).

Cod.: paper, 169 ff. (foliated with small Arabic-European numerals; catchwords). A single naskh hand; fully dotted ductus. Book and section titles generally in black, enlarged and bold, but in the Ptolemaic part mostly without specific indication or entirely omitted; some section or proposition numbers in black overlined abjad in the margins of the first part and the beginning of the Ptolemaic part. Abjad numbers and geometrical points in the text overlined. Numerous diagrams with (presumably) red lines and black geometrical points. No tables, but some reserved spaces in the third part. Codex in acceptable condition; water stains in the middle fold and the upper outer edges; restorations of the edges of ff. 3–6. Dimensions: not given; 25 lines per page, in some parts 26 or 27.
