(foliated with Arabic-European numerals in pencil at the bottom left of rectos, written vertically with respect to the text area, jumping from ‘109’ to ‘120’ and skipping one leaf after f. 211; paginated with Persian forms of Hindu-Arabic numerals in the top area of each page, running from ‘5’ on f. 1r to ‘679’ on f. 355r and skipping all blank pages and several others; catchwords). A single nastaʿlīq hand in black; dotted ductus. Book and section titles in red and frequent use of red overlines to highlight significant words, except in treatise 11. Diagrams and some tables in red and black in some of the works. Codex in good condition; text near the top of the pages sometimes trimmed; most upper right corners in the first half torn and restored, some minor restorations in the margins. Dimensions: 16.5×10.5 cm, written area: c. 15×8 cm; most pages written with two horizontal lines at the top and the bottom and two or three in the middle, with 8 diagonal lines in between in either direction. Dark-brown leather covers and doublures, with large rectangular onlays of red leather and frames on front and back. Type III binding, Persian safīna.
