Persian loan statement by ʿAṭā Allāh b. Muḥammad Dhakkī, who received the manuscript from Sayyid Muṣtafā, a relative of Sayyid Naṣr Allāh, in Karbala (1r). A partially legible ownership statement by Ḥusayn ʿAlī … (1r). Persian note stating that this text and its commentary were bound separately (1r). Old shelfmark: ‘riyāḍī 6433’ (1r). Cod.: paper, I+132 ff. (foliated with Arabic-European numerals in pencil in the lower left part of each recto; catchwords). A single clear nastaʿlīq hand with some tendency to naskh, at times loose and cursive; fully dotted ductus with occasional shaddas. Book and section beginnings and abjad numerals overlined in red. Diagrams and tables in red and black. The notes on ff. 131r–v are concluded by the reference mark ‘12’ in Hindu-Arabic numerals. Codex in good condition; some folios loose. Dimensions: 25×18.5 cm, written area: 17.5×12 cm; 25 lines per page. Burgundy leather covers. Type III binding.
