this fragment was discovered by the compiler of the present description in March 2026. It is located in the unbound manuscripts section (al-Khurūm) at the al-Qarawiyyīn library, in which it is item no. 5 under subject no. 20 (astronomy). Former shelfmark: 3030 (unpublished library records).

Cod.: light brown parchment, 10 ff. (unfoliated; a single quire consisting of five bifolia; no catchwords). A single clear Maghribi round hand in dark brown; mostly dotted ductus with occasional vowels and shaddas. Chapter titles enlarged. Codex in bad condition; some moisture stains, slightly worm-eaten; some damage to the edges, not affecting the readability. Dimensions: 24×18 cm, written area: c. 12×7.5 cm; 15−16 lines per page. Unbound, without covers.
