= Ptolemy, al-Majisṭī (tr. Isḥāq b. Ḥunayn/Thābit b. Qurra) (A.1.2)

. — Index: leaves covering parts of chapters XII.1, XII.2, XII.9 in great disorder; the correct order of the pages is as follows: pp. 5–6, 9–10, 7–8, 13–14, 23–24 (XII.1); 1–2, 11–12, 3–4 (XII.2); 15–18, 25–32, 19–22 (XII.9). — MS Doha, MIA, 131 and London, Khalili, MS 375 contain folios of other parts of Books XI to XIII from the same original codex. In particular, pages 15–18, 25–32 and 19–22 of this manuscript exactly fill up the gap between the beginning and end of chapter XII.9 in the Doha manuscript, so that the two manuscripts together contain this entire final chapter of Book XII without the table of maximum elongations of Venus and Mercury. — A few marginal corrections in the scribe’s hand.
