= Jābir ibn Aflaḥ, al-Kitāb fī l-Hayʾa (C.1.14)

, Books I–VI. — Title: Kitāb fī ʿilm al-hayʾa. Sharḥ-i Majisṭī (inside front cover). — Additional title: Sharḥ bar Majisṭī (1r). — Index: author’s preface, 1r–4r; Book I, 4v–34v; II, 35r–64r; III, 64r–77r; IV, 77v–105r; V, 105v–146r; VI, 146v–167v. — Very minor marginal additions and hardly any corrections (except for f. 97r); a couple of glosses, one criticizing the author for knowing nothing about astronomy (50v). Version close to MS Berlin, SBPK, Landberg 132, although the text skips many words. The absence of authorial or scribal colophons and the numbering of the quires point to this manuscript being the first of a two-volume set. Mohammad Mozaffari (private communication) identified this otherwise anonymous manuscript as the Kitāb fī l-Hayʾa (Iṣlāḥ al-Majisṭī) by Jābir b. Aflaḥ in September 2015.
