Cod.: thin dark cream paper with laid lines and pulp visible (PUL Catalog), 147 ff. (foliated with Arabic-European numerals in pencil; an earlier foliation with Hindu-Arabic numerals in pen starting on f. 3; no catchwords; pages trimmed). A single very readable naskh hand in black; the last page (f. 146r) in a different, slightly smaller naskh hand. Partially dotted ductus; occasional vowels, hamzas and shaddas. Decorated title page; centred book headings; book and chapter headings in red; the words qāla Baṭlamyūs and qāla l-mufassir in red. Minor tables and horoscopes. Codex in acceptable condition; substantial moisture stains, mold stains, restorations on ff. 2 and 3; binding loose. Dimensions: 25×17 cm, written area: 19×12½ cm; 25 lines per page. Red leather over paper pasteboard with guilloche outer border; marbled paper pastedown; lower cover lost (PUL Catalog).
