A single neat nastaʿlīq hand in black; mostly dotted ductus; some vowels, very few shaddas and frequent indication of final hamzas and maddas; titles and paragraph beginnings rubricated. No tables or diagrams; blank spaces reserved for all three horoscopes usually found in this commentary (pp. 390, 395, 398). Abjad notation in the main text not highlighted. Dimensions: 265×155 mm; written area: 190×100 mm (Fankha); 25 lines per page (misṭara imprints). Codex in good condition, minor ink smudges and occasional moisture stains (esp. on the covers), restorations with pasted slips of paper (p. I). Red leather covers over paper pasteboards, decorated with a golden frame; doublure in brown leather, cover with fore-edge and envelope flap. Type II binding.
