copied on a Tuesday during the first ten days (‘al-ʿashar al-awwal’) of Jumādā l-ūlā 1116/2 or 9 September 1704 (colophon, 191v); copied from an exemplar dated to the end (salkh) of Jumādā l-ūlā 678/September-October 1279 that claimed to have been copied from an exemplar in the hand of Quṭb al-Dīn al-Shīrāzī, which in turn was copied from an autograph (‘nuskha bi-khaṭṭ al-muṣannif’) (colophon, 191v).

Main hand (2r–191v): naskh with tendency to nastaʿlīq; almost fully dotted ductus, frequent vowel marks, some hamzas but only very few shaddas. First page (1v) in a different naskh hand: almost fully dotted ductus; few hamzas and shaddas, no vowel marks. Book headings mostly in bold thuluth; additional catch titles in the margins for Books II–V. Chapter beginnings introduced by bold and overlined abjad numerals; propositions numbered in the margins with bold and overlined abjad numerals. Abjad numerals in the main text overlined. Carefully drawn diagrams, sometimes invisible on the scans. Codex seemingly in good condition; first page replaced, binding apparently becoming loose. Dimensions: 24×15.5 cm, written area: 17×8 cm; 20 lines per page. Covers and binding not assessable.
