Note of possession by Veliyüddin Carullah, dated 1104/1692-3, with his oval seal, on a piece of paper glued onto f. 1r. Waqf seal of Veliyyüddin Carullah (d. 1151/1738) with illegible year (1r, 93v; Mühür veritabanı no. 258). Note on the Taḥrīr and some of its commentaries, as well as the note on the three well-known Arabic versions of the Almagest stemming from Qāḍī-Zāda al-Rūmī (1r). Library stamp of Millet Genel Kütüphanesi (1r); fainted library stamps (1r, 44v, 94v).
Cod.: paper, 94+Ia ff. (foliated with Hindu-Arabic numerals in pencil; earlier identical foliations in pen at the top right of rectos and the bottom left of versos, serving as catchwords). A single naskh hand, scarcely dotted. Sparse use of red ink; chapter numbers in large bold black abjad. Codex in bad condition; heavy damage by water and insects, edges of all leaves restored; lost first folio replaced and rewritten by a different hand. Brown marbled cardboard covers with red pastedowns and cloth binding.
