Cod.: Iranian paper (Wust), I+207+IIa ff. (foliated with Hindu-Arabic numerals in pencil; mostly bound in quaternions (Wust); catchwords in the hand of the scribe). A single very neat naskh hand; fully dotted ductus, frequent hamzas and shaddas, occasional vocalisation in blue. Book headings in gold, chapter numbers in gold abjad within a blue circle; book titles in red, chapter titles mostly in black, exceptionally in red or blue. Abjad and Hindu-Arabic numbers as well as geometrical points in the text in red with blue overlines; red overlines and partial red overwrites also used to make qāla, uqūlu, and other words stand out. Proposition numbers in red abjad in the margins. Diagrams with red lines and black letters, occasionally the other way around. Tables with a thick golden frame surrounded by another blue frame, titles in black, column headers and arguments in red and occasionally in blue, values in black. Golden basmala with diacritics in blue and a floral motive (1r); golden frames around the body text on all pages. Codex in good condition; significant damage to the margins of ff. 1–14 (esp. f. 1) and to the bottom margins and the fold of ff. 206–207, restored with pieces of paper; slight damage by insects and humidity in the upper inner fold, partially restored; some other larger restorations (e.g., f. 94). Dimensions: 230×140 mm; 21 lines per page. Cardboard cover with dark brown leather binding with a double golden frame; pastedowns with red and green floral motive. Type III binding.
