First hand: nastaʿlīq (1v–110v); almost fully dotted ductus, some vowel marks and few hamzas or shaddas. Second hand: bolder nastaʿlīq (111r–240v); almost fully dotted ductus, some vowel marks, hamzas and shaddas. Headings for Books I–V and VIII in bold black thuluth, for VI, VII, XIII in red, and for IX–XII in bold red thuluth; section headings in red and introduced by black or red abjad numerals. Diagrams with red lines and black geometrical points or sometimes vice-versa. Tables with red lines, mostly with headings in bold thuluth. Abjad and Persian variants of Hindu-Arabic numerals only rarely highlighted. Some fold-ins for diagrams, tables or marginal corrections or annotations (e.g., ff. 168, 205, 207).
