Owner names from the Bahādur Khān family around a lobed square seal: Sarkār Mawlawī Muḥammad … Ṣāḥib (partially erased), Ghulām Jīlānī (three times, once with the title ‘Sarkār Mawlawī’ and once written over a rectangular seal), Sarkār Muḥammad ʿUmar, and Sarkār Muṣṭafā (1r). An erased statement (1r). An oval seal ‘Kutubkhāna-yi Riyāsat-i Rāmpūr’ with border with floral motifs (1r, 48v, 149v, 191v, 209v). A Persian poem (209v, mirrored). An owner name Mawlawī ... Muḥammad b. Muslim … (partially erased) with a short Persian poem (209v). Accession numbers: ‘797 M’, and ‘ST 1428’ (1r, with name ʿArshī-Zāda and date 28 October ’95).

Cod.: paper, 209 ff. (foliated with Hindu-Arabic numerals in red [up to f. 23 in black] on rectos; an inserted sheet between ff. 204 and 205, also numbered ‘205’; f. 208 bound after f. 201; catchwords). A single neat naskh hand in black; fully dotted ductus, frequent elongated ascenders and bowls. Book titles mostly in enlarged bold red; section titles mostly in black overwritten in red, occasionally the other way around; chapter numbers in bold black abjad, often overlined; proposition numbers written out in red in the margins. Abjad and Hindu-Arabic numerals in red and overlined; geometrical points in the text in black with red overlines; qāla / aqūlu in red. Diagrams with red lines and black geometrical points or the other way around, sometimes in the margin and frequently interrupting the frame. Tables with red lines; a rosette (111v). Red frame with greyish border-line around the text area on every page. Illuminated headpiece in gold, blue and other colours with floral motifs (1v). Codex in very bad condition; significant show-through and offset of the ink of both the main text and the glosses, frequently hindering the reading; major water, ink and other stains; substantial damage by insects restored with tape; all inner margins restored. Dimensions: 22.8×16 cm; 23 lines per page. Modern blue and red half-bound covers. Type III binding.
