All pages consist of three clearly separate parts: the main text in a relatively narrow column; a very wide margin for annotations, and a top area used for quotations from al-Ṭūsī’s Taḥrīr al-Majisṭī. A single nastaʿlīq hand, dotted ductus; smaller writing in some parts (e.g., 15v), spread out in others (e.g, 32r) in order to fit text on the page. Book and chapter titles bold and in red, often repeated in the margins. Quotations from al-Ṭūsī’s Taḥrīr overlined in red. Abjad and Hindu-Arabic numerals and geometrical points in the text in red, only occasionally overlined.
