Cod.: paper, I+228+Ia ff. (foliated with Urdu forms of Hindu-Arabic numerals in pencil in the upper centre of rectos; catchwords, often missing). A single naskh hand with occasional tendency to nastaʿlīq; mostly dotted ductus, some vowel marks, final kāfs indicated with a second smaller kāfabove. Book headings in bold thuluth; section beginnings and qawlu-hu / aqūlu in red; some use of red overlines as textual dividers, frequent use of red dots as textual dividers up to f. 4v; propositions in parts of Book II numbered with red overlined abjad numerals in the margins. Abjad numerals overlined or in red with or without overlines; Persian forms of Hindu-Arabic numerals overlined or in red. Diagrams with black lines and red geometrical points and exceptionally vice versa. Tables with red lines. Codex in acceptable condition; minor ink corrosion, some damage by insects throughout, especially in the margins and folds, sometimes affecting the readability; water or moisture damage in some margins and especially in the upper folds of ff. 164–210; restorations with transparent tape or paper slips.
