a short poem attributed to the Sufi ʿĀʾisha al-Bāʿūniyya (Ir); a short excerpt attributed to the Sufi al-Ḥakīm al-Tirmidhī (1r); a verse of the poet al-Bustī, repeated (1r); verses apparently based on verses attributed to Ibn Ḥajar (2v); excerpts of poems in Arabic, and two poems in Persian (2v, 3r); three Persian poems attributed to Ibn Sīnā, and a Persian note on him written upside down (70r). Pointed oval seal of Sultan Bayezid II (r. 1481–1512) (4r, 85r); round endowment seal of Sultan Ahmet III (r. 1703–1730) accompanied by an unidentified calligraphic signature (4r). Old shelfmarks: ‘hayʾat 15’, ‘Y 80’, and ‘ḥikmat’ (Ir).

Cod.: paper, II+85+IIa ff. (foliated with Arabic-European numerals in pencil, with 27 repeated; a crossed-out earlier foliation in Arabic-European numerals, 2, 3 or 5 behind the later foliation and used in Karatay & Rešer and the secondary literature; catchwords up to f. 65v and on f. 71v). Three different hands. First hand (4v–70r): a nastaʿlīq with tendency to naskh; mostly dotted ductus, elongated ascending strokes of kāfs and some bowls; hardly any vowel marks, no hamzas or shaddas. Second hand (70v–72v): a rather bold naskh with clear tendency to nastaʿlīq; nearly fully dotted ductus, very few vowel marks, some hamzas, no shaddas. Third hand (73v–85r), very similar to the first hand: a slightly sloppier nastaʿlīq with tendency to naskh; mostly dotted ductus, few vowel marks and hamzas, no shaddas. Basmalas of the first and last works in large gold thuluth; basmala of the first Ptolemaic work in bold thuluth. Abjad numerals overlined or in red in the first work. Diagrams with red lines and black labels. Codex in good condition; slight damage by insects in the upper folds of ff. 77–IIa. Dimensions: 12×18 cm, written area 6½×12½ cm; 21 lines per page. Dark brown leather covers with fore-edge and envelope flap; decorated with borders and a small interlace-filled frame, a blind tooled central circular motif, and similar decorations on the flap. Lower left corner of front cover and parts of fore-edge flap heavily rubbed. Type II binding.
