Note of purchase by Muḥammad Mahdī, with his rectangular seal (1v); Barikat identifies him with the well-known religious scholar Shaykh Muḥammad Mahdī Kujūrī (d. 1293/1876-7) (1v); endowment statement by the same hand dated Shawwāl 1249/February-March 1834, with a different rectangular seal (2r). Abjad and Hindu-Arabic numerals in red and overlined, geometrical points in the text not marked in any way; proposition numbers in red overlined abjad in the margins. Diagrams with red lines and black geometrical points, or the other way around; several diagrams glued in over the original diagrams and sometimes over part of the text (e.g., 10v, 12r, 15v–16v). Tables with red lines; a rosette (121v), with another copy by the scribe on f. 121^bisr. Codex in good condition; substantial water and handling stains, never hindering the reading of the main text.
