Owner statement by Muḥammad ʿUbayd Allāh (Ir, in red); two mentions of the owner’s name Muḥammad ʿUbayd Allāh Mūsā-Zāda, plus an erased one (IIr). The anonymous author of a short note on f. Ir states that he had at hand copies of the commentaries by al-Nīsābūrī (C.1.38) and al-Birjandī (C.1.44). Large almond-shaped seal of endowment of Selim Ağa (d. 1203/1789) dated 17 Shawwāl 1196/25 September 1782 (IIr, 41r, 124r; Mühür veritabanı, no. 39).
Cod.: paper, II+210 ff. (foliated with Arabic-European numerals in pencil near the top left of the text area; catchwords). A single quick nastaʿlīq hand; partially dotted ductus. Book headings in black and red bold thuluth; section numbers in bold black overlined abjad, section titles in red thuluth. Proposition numbers in red overlined abjad in the margins. Abjad and Hindu-Arabic numerals in red and overlined; geometrical points in the text overlined in black. Most diagrams carefully drawn with red lines and black geometrical points, sometimes vice versa. Tables with red lines. Codex in good condition; traces of use on the first few folios, strong show-through on all pages. Dimensions: 16.4×9.2 cm; written area: 10.7×4.5 cm; 18 lines per page. Front doublure of dark-brown leather, decorated with a thin golden rule-border. Type III binding.
