Cod.: paper, 212 ff. (unfoliated; catchwords in the hand of the scribe). A very clear naskh hand, at times with elongated bowls. Dotted ductus without tashkīl, hamzas frequently indicated, no shaddas. Text inserted in a pink double frame reserved for glosses. Rubrications in pink, headings additionally emphasised by thuluth script (spaces for these reserved from f. 34r onwards) and Ptolemaic text sections marked with blue over-lines. Notes summarising the contents in the hand of the scribe in the upper left corner of most rectos. Diagrams: the three horoscopes usually found in this commentary (179r, 180r, 181v). Dimensions: 24.2×17.5 cm; 21 lines per page (Eastern misṭara imprints). Codex in very good condition. Bound in a plain brown goat leather binding with a simple frame. Type III binding.
