Amal al-Ḥājj’s hand (including the Ptolemaic work): clear and regular naskh; mostly dotted ductus with a few other diacritics; red ink for chapter headings, verbum numbering (in abjad numerals), formulaic expressions, and overlining of chapter beginnings. Other hands: clear and regular naskh, mostly dotted, red used throughout; beautiful diagrams in several colours by the first hand, neat diagrams in red by the fourth hand. Dimensions: 21×14.5 cm; written area varying from 13.0×7.0 to 15.5×8.5 cm (Ptolemaic work: 135×75 mm); 17–23 lines per page.
