Book I finished on 25 Ramaḍān 1136/17 June 1724 (18r, next to the colophon), Book II on 8 Jumādā l-ūlā 1136/3 February 1724 (34v), Book III on 14 Ṣafar 1137/2 November 1724 (58v), and Book IV on 28 Rabīʿ al-awwal 〈1137〉/15 December 1724 (72v).

Cod.: paper, 72 ff. (foliated with Hindu-Arabic numerals, with ‘19’ omitted; catchwords). A single very clear nastaʿlīq hand; numerous final hamzas and shaddas, maddas mostly indicated, frequent use of lām-alif mukhaffafa. Reserved spaces for rubricated chapter titles and paragraph beginnings; empty spaces for missing abjad notation in the body text (making, for example, the list of terms on f. 15v useless). No tables or diagrams. Two pages with fragments of different texts on the obverse of a book beginning (35r, 59r). Dimensions: 141×194 mm; 17 lines per page. Slightly damaged by insects, some moisture and ink stains; several pages repaired with pasted paper slips.
