% (the percent sign) is the placeholder for no, one or more than one character.
%% (two percent signs) is the placeholder for no, one or more than one character, but not for blank space (so that a search ends at word boundaries).

, version with 102 verba. — Title: Sharḥ Thamarat Baṭlamyūs li-l-shaykh al-fāḍil Aḥmad b. Yūsuf kātib Ṭūlūnī (1r). — Index: 102 verba intertwined with the commentary, 1v–27v. — Commentator’s colophon; undated scribal colophon.
