ff. 40v–58v completed on 18 Dhū l-ḥijja 1303/17 September 1886; remainder of the manuscript copied by the same hand.

The exemplar of the Ptolemaic work was MS Cairo, Dār al-kutub, hayʾa Ṭalʿat 51, as the two manuscripts share peculiar variant readings and three glosses which are in a hand different from the scribe’s in MS hayʾa Ṭalʿat 51.

Cod.: paper, I+59+Ia ff. (foliated with Hindu-Arabic numerals, with the blank leaf after f. 39 unnumbered; catchwords). A single neat ruqʿa hand; almost fully dotted ductus, no diacritics. Different ink (most likely red) for titles and Pseudo-Ptolemy’s verba (numbered in abjad notation in the margin). Text framed, most likely in red. Codex in good condition, some stains not affecting the readability;traces of the flap on ff. I–4. Dimensions: 24.5×14.5 cm; 25 lines per page.
