A single neat small naskh hand in black with occasional cursive elements; at times the hand becomes more informal and bigger (cf. ff. 46r–48v). Almost fully dotted ductus; no vowels, hamzas or shaddas. Chapter headings in red, sections introduced by rubricated words, abjad notation in red. No diagrams; few tables in the first work. Moisture stains; some ink smudges. Dimensions: 185×140 mm, written area: 125×91 mm; mostly 21 lines per page.
